Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Mercedes B Class is significantly cheaper – starting at 33,100 £ , while the Jaguar I-Pace costs 79,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 46,071 £.

Engine and Performance:

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

When it comes to engine power, the Jaguar I-Pace offers substantially more power – delivering 400 HP compared to 238 HP. That’s roughly 162 HP more horsepower.

My wife and I have been driving a Mercedes W247 200d for seven years now, with 93,000 km on the clock. The car is very comfortable even on long trips and economical. At the last service the pads of the electric parking brake were replaced; otherwise no repairs. We love this car.

The Ipace is a tragedy. Looks nice..but the quality is very low. After 30000km I changed the charger, I changed the heater..aprox 8000 euro cost. Not recomend in any eay. Avoid it!
