Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW Taigo is significantly cheaper – starting at 19,900 £ , while the Mercedes G-Class costs 106,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 86,670 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the VW Taigo uses 5.3 L/100km and is considerably more efficient than the Mercedes G-Class with 8.7 L/100km. The difference is about 3.4 L/100km.
