Costs and Efficiency:

Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

MG MG4 is clearly cheaper – starting at 36,800 £ , while the Volvo EX90 costs 72,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 35,314 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the MG MG4 is slightly more efficient: consuming 16.1 kWh/100km compared to 17.8 kWh/100km for the Volvo EX90. That’s a difference of about 1.7 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Volvo EX90 offers slightly more range – reaching up to 620 km, about 75 km more than the MG MG4.

The MG4 seems more versatile to me than the Dolphin, which relies mainly on design. The MG4 has proven itself and remains an excellent used option with low mileage.

Full of faults — at least every other day there's something that needs to be fixed. Consumption 24 kWh/100 km in summer; in winter the range is half of what was promised. The safety would be good if the promised features actually worked.
