Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW Golf is noticeably cheaper – starting at 28,300 £ , while the Peugeot 5008 costs 39,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 11,027 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the VW Golf uses 1.1 L/100km and is considerably more efficient than the Peugeot 5008 with 2.7 L/100km. The difference is about 1.6 L/100km.
