Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

BYD Atto 2 is visibly cheaper – starting at 27,400 £ , while the SERES 3 costs 32,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 5,494 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BYD Atto 2 is moderately more efficient: consuming 15.8 kWh/100km compared to 18 kWh/100km for the SERES 3. That’s a difference of about 2.2 kWh/100km.

I've done 6,000 km and I'm delighted. I haven't tried other EVs, but I'm thrilled with the BYD Atto 2. It's true I don't go on long trips — I do everything in the city and nearby, about 100 to 150 km a day — and honestly it's been great in every way. When I hit 300,000 km I'll tell you again. Haha
