Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Subaru BRZ is a bit cheaper – starting at 36,000 £ , while the smart #1 costs 40,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 4,714 £.

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

When it comes to engine power, the smart #1 offers clearly more power – delivering 368 HP compared to 235 HP. That’s roughly 133 HP more horsepower.
