SsangYong Korando is clearly cheaper – starting at 27,000 £ , while the VW Passat costs 36,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 9,471 £.

That's just a Passat. Too expensive in my opinion, but it's up to each person to decide whether to throw their money into VW's maw. The car itself is somehow a legend.
