Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Subaru Solterra is barely cheaper – starting at 39,400 £ , while the Polestar 2 costs 42,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 2,571 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Polestar 2 is somewhat more efficient: consuming 14.8 kWh/100km compared to 16.8 kWh/100km for the Subaru Solterra. That’s a difference of about 2 kWh/100km.
