Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

Polestar 3 is very slightly cheaper – starting at 67,600 £ , while the Volvo EX90 costs 72,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 4,534 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Polestar 3 is barely more efficient: consuming 17.7 kWh/100km compared to 17.8 kWh/100km for the Volvo EX90. That’s a difference of about 0.1 kWh/100km.

Full of faults — at least every other day there's something that needs to be fixed. Consumption 24 kWh/100 km in summer; in winter the range is half of what was promised. The safety would be good if the promised features actually worked.
