When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

VW ID.7 is barely cheaper – starting at 46,400 £ , while the Mercedes GLC costs 50,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,952 £.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers clearly more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 580 km more than the Mercedes GLC.

The Smart attracts with its power and charging. I ended up choosing the ID7, though. The decision was influenced by it being European and by my three years' experience with the ID4. The ID4 has been an excellent vehicle.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.

It is a super comfortable car with a charging from 10-80% in less than 20 minutes. This car is also a very economic car as it is fully electric.

There's no comparison: Mercedes has spent 140 years creating genuine marvels of automotive engineering, while ZEEKR has been around for, at most, four years — they can't be compared.
