Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

MG MGS5 EV is moderately cheaper – starting at 32,600 £ , while the VW Passat costs 36,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,900 £.

As for electric range, the MG MGS5 EV offers considerably more range – reaching up to 480 km, about 345 km more than the VW Passat.

That's just a Passat. Too expensive in my opinion, but it's up to each person to decide whether to throw their money into VW's maw. The car itself is somehow a legend.

We have recently moved from an ID3 to and MGS5. For me, the S5 feels a decent upgrade. The build quality really surprised me, especially in the cabin. the drive is also reassuringly solid, and in my opinion better than the ID3. the MGS5 is slightly quicker, but not too much that it is noticeable, and also more practical due to it's size.
Gone are my days of thinking MG was now just a cheap Chinese alternative. Go and test drive one, you'll see!
