Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

BYD Atto 2 is visibly cheaper – starting at 27,400 £ , while the VW Tiguan costs 33,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 6,158 £.

As for electric range, the BYD Atto 2 offers considerably more range – reaching up to 430 km, about 304 km more than the VW Tiguan.

I've done 6,000 km and I'm delighted. I haven't tried other EVs, but I'm thrilled with the BYD Atto 2. It's true I don't go on long trips — I do everything in the city and nearby, about 100 to 150 km a day — and honestly it's been great in every way. When I hit 300,000 km I'll tell you again. Haha
