Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Toyota Yaris is considerably cheaper – starting at 21,900 £ , while the BMW X1 costs 38,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 16,800 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the BMW X1 uses 2.5 L/100km and is considerably more efficient than the Toyota Yaris with 3.8 L/100km. The difference is about 1.3 L/100km.
