BYD Seal U is markedly cheaper – starting at 34,300 £ , while the Polestar 2 costs 45,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 10,885 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BYD Seal U is markedly more efficient: consuming 12.1 kWh/100km compared to 14.8 kWh/100km for the Polestar 2. That’s a difference of about 2.7 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Polestar 2 offers markedly more range – reaching up to 659 km, about 159 km more than the BYD Seal U.
