Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Fiat 600 is clearly cheaper – starting at 21,800 £ , while the BYD Atto 2 costs 27,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 5,572 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Fiat 600 is marginally more efficient: consuming 15.1 kWh/100km compared to 15.8 kWh/100km for the BYD Atto 2. That’s a difference of about 0.7 kWh/100km.

Lovely car — one thing they forgot: the 600 has a heat pump and, as far as I know, the 500 doesn’t, which is quite an important detail.

I've done 6,000 km and I'm delighted. I haven't tried other EVs, but I'm thrilled with the BYD Atto 2. It's true I don't go on long trips — I do everything in the city and nearby, about 100 to 150 km a day — and honestly it's been great in every way. When I hit 300,000 km I'll tell you again. Haha
