When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Honda CR-V is marginally cheaper – starting at 42,800 £ , while the VW ID.7 costs 46,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,604 £.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers significantly more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 630 km more than the Honda CR-V.

My 2026 CR‑V hybrid has had no problems. It’s quieter than my previous 2019 RAV4 hybrid. The exterior finish feels more solid across the whole vehicle. It’s less affected by crosswinds. I prefer the CR‑V’s driving. Its only drawback is that it uses just a little more fuel than the RAV4.

Very comfortable, lots of space, combined fuel consumption about 6 l, reliable, simple to operate, without unnecessary gadgets, very well made, easy to drive, a car for the city and long trips.

Good car, very comfortable. It still drinks petrol — I do a lot of driving, so the hybrid system only makes itself felt in traffic jams....

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.
