Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Lexus RZ is clearly cheaper – starting at 48,900 £ , while the Mercedes GLE costs 78,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 29,970 £.

As for electric range, the Lexus RZ offers substantially more range – reaching up to 559 km, about 455 km more than the Mercedes GLE.

Mercedes is completely superior to Volvo, which feels plasticky and noisy with poor fit and finish, a poor tactile feel in the controls and a lack of buttons.
