Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

MG HS is somewhat cheaper – starting at 30,000 £ , while the Mercedes B Class costs 33,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,138 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the MG HS uses 0.5 L/100km and is clearly more efficient than the Mercedes B Class with 2.5 L/100km. The difference is about 2 L/100km.

My wife and I have been driving a Mercedes W247 200d for seven years now, with 93,000 km on the clock. The car is very comfortable even on long trips and economical. At the last service the pads of the electric parking brake were replaced; otherwise no repairs. We love this car.
