In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.7 is significantly more efficient: consuming 13.6 kWh/100km compared to 19.3 kWh/100km for the Mercedes Citan. That’s a difference of about 5.7 kWh/100km.

The Smart attracts with its power and charging. I ended up choosing the ID7, though. The decision was influenced by it being European and by my three years' experience with the ID4. The ID4 has been an excellent vehicle.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.
