Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

MG MG4 is markedly cheaper – starting at 36,800 £ , while the Volvo EC40 costs 46,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 9,686 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the MG MG4 is only slightly more efficient: consuming 16.1 kWh/100km compared to 16.2 kWh/100km for the Volvo EC40. That’s a difference of about 0.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Volvo EC40 offers marginally more range – reaching up to 585 km, about 40 km more than the MG MG4.
