Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Nissan X-Trail is moderately cheaper – starting at 34,200 £ , while the MG MGS9 costs 38,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 4,405 £.

I drive an Outback every day; I had an X‑Trail as a courtesy car while mine was in for service. First impression after a few kilometres of driving — the suspension is a disaster.
