Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Mitsubishi ASX is substantially cheaper – starting at 21,800 £ , while the Honda CR-V costs 40,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 18,438 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Honda CR-V uses 2.6 L/100km and is clearly more efficient than the Mitsubishi ASX with 4.3 L/100km. The difference is about 1.7 L/100km.

The fuel economy you report in your test is, of course, nonsense. This is a plug-in, and so you're being fooled. Of course a CR‑V isn't more economical than an HR‑V. Think!

My 2026 CR‑V hybrid has had no problems. It’s quieter than my previous 2019 RAV4 hybrid. The exterior finish feels more solid across the whole vehicle. It’s less affected by crosswinds. I prefer the CR‑V’s driving. Its only drawback is that it uses just a little more fuel than the RAV4.
