Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

NIO ET5 is only slightly cheaper – starting at 40,700 £ , while the XPeng P7 costs 42,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 1,800 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the XPeng P7 is slightly more efficient: consuming 16.8 kWh/100km compared to 18.6 kWh/100km for the NIO ET5. That’s a difference of about 1.8 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the NIO ET5 offers marginally more range – reaching up to 590 km, about 14 km more than the XPeng P7.
