Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW ID.7 is visibly cheaper – starting at 46,400 £ , while the NIO ET7 costs 59,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 13,539 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.7 is clearly more efficient: consuming 13.6 kWh/100km compared to 19 kWh/100km for the NIO ET7. That’s a difference of about 5.4 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers moderately more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 124 km more than the NIO ET7.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.
