I drive an Outback every day; I had an X‑Trail as a courtesy car while mine was in for service. First impression after a few kilometres of driving — the suspension is a disaster. You get the feeling this car picks up every single imperfection in the tarmac. Also, at idle the engine causes noticeably more vibrations in the cabin than the Subaru. On the plus side, a more ergonomic gear lever and 360° cameras. But I wouldn’t swap...
