When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

VW Passat is visibly cheaper – starting at 36,500 £ , while the Land Rover Discovery Sport costs 46,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 9,995 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the VW Passat uses 1.2 L/100km and is substantially more efficient than the Land Rover Discovery Sport with 4.2 L/100km. The difference is about 3 L/100km.

That's just a Passat. Too expensive in my opinion, but it's up to each person to decide whether to throw their money into VW's maw. The car itself is somehow a legend.
