When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Tesla Model Y is considerably cheaper – starting at 34,300 £ , while the Audi Q8 e-tron costs 65,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 30,780 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Tesla Model Y is significantly more efficient: consuming 13.1 kWh/100km compared to 19.7 kWh/100km for the Audi Q8 e-tron. That’s a difference of about 6.6 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Tesla Model Y offers marginally more range – reaching up to 622 km, about 27 km more than the Audi Q8 e-tron.
