Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

BMW iX1 is significantly cheaper – starting at 42,300 £ , while the Mercedes GLE costs 78,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 36,570 £.

As for electric range, the BMW iX1 offers significantly more range – reaching up to 514 km, about 410 km more than the Mercedes GLE.
