Performance and Efficiency
In terms of performance metrics, the CUPRA Terramar shines with a rapid acceleration time of just 5.3 seconds for its powerful 272 hp engine, while the Tiguan follows closely behind, with its top performance variant hitting the 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds. However, when it comes to everyday driving efficiency, the CUPRA offers a plug-in hybrid variant with a low consumption rate of just 0.4 L/100km, making it an environmentally friendly option for tech-savvy drivers.
The Tiguan, while slightly less efficient at 0.5 L/100km in its hybrid iteration, still performs competitively with excellent fuel economy across its diesel and petrol ranges. Additionally, both vehicles offer substantial electric ranges, with the Terramar boasting 120 km and the Tiguan providing up to 112 km, making them practical for short-distance commutes and errands without consuming fossil fuels.
