Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Ford Explorer EV is marginally cheaper – starting at 34,200 £ , while the MG MG4 costs 36,800 £ . That’s a price difference of around 2,648 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Ford Explorer EV is somewhat more efficient: consuming 14.6 kWh/100km compared to 16.1 kWh/100km for the MG MG4. That’s a difference of about 1.5 kWh/100km.

I have owned and worked on Ford products for years and I am now driving an 07 Explorer 4.0 liter. 1 transmission and multiple soft parts and switches >300.000.
Klm. and still looks and runs great.
I am a Ford fan and will continue to be one, however the Rxplorer is looking dated. Come on you guys time for a Ford Home run. How about a totally resigned Ford Explorer. Hey how bout a diesel or a hybrid

The MG4 seems more versatile to me than the Dolphin, which relies mainly on design. The MG4 has proven itself and remains an excellent used option with low mileage.
