When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

XPeng G9 is a bit cheaper – starting at 51,100 £ , while the Hongqi H9 costs 60,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 8,910 £.

Engine and Performance:

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

When it comes to engine power, the XPeng G9 offers substantially more power – delivering 575 HP compared to 245 HP. That’s roughly 330 HP more horsepower.

I drove the Mercedes EQS and the Xpeng G9 Performance. The Xpeng is an ultra-modern, voice-controlled car with excellent build quality, a superior sound system and air suspension. I now understand why VW invested €700 million to buy a 5% stake in Xpeng. VW cars in China now run on Xpeng technology.

I've seen and driven both cars. The XPeng 9 makes more of an impression. The Zeekr 7x's interior color is limited to black — a real shame! For a nicer contrast you'll have to have it wrapped in a different color. But that's a matter of taste! Otherwise the cars are comparable, noting that the XPeng is a proper SUV while the Zeekr 7x is a crossover.
