Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Kia EV2 is noticeably cheaper – starting at 22,800 £ , while the VW ID.3 costs 29,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 6,338 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.3 is barely more efficient: consuming 13.9 kWh/100km compared to 15.1 kWh/100km for the Kia EV2. That’s a difference of about 1.2 kWh/100km.
