Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Kia EV3 is slightly cheaper – starting at 40,200 £ , while the Volvo EC40 costs 46,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 6,352 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Kia EV3 is barely more efficient: consuming 15.8 kWh/100km compared to 16.2 kWh/100km for the Volvo EC40. That’s a difference of about 0.4 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Volvo EC40 offers barely more range – reaching up to 585 km, about 13 km more than the Kia EV3.
