When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

VW ID.5 is noticeably cheaper – starting at 37,200 £ , while the Mercedes E-Class costs 50,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 13,325 £.

As for electric range, the VW ID.5 offers significantly more range – reaching up to 571 km, about 455 km more than the Mercedes E-Class.
