Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

SERES 3 is a bit cheaper – starting at 32,900 £ , while the BYD Atto 3 costs 38,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 5,648 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BYD Atto 3 is very slightly more efficient: consuming 16.4 kWh/100km compared to 18 kWh/100km for the SERES 3. That’s a difference of about 1.6 kWh/100km.
