Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

smart #3 is markedly cheaper – starting at 42,000 £ , while the Polestar 4 costs 53,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 11,066 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the smart #3 is very slightly more efficient: consuming 16.3 kWh/100km compared to 17.8 kWh/100km for the Polestar 4. That’s a difference of about 1.5 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Polestar 4 offers clearly more range – reaching up to 620 km, about 165 km more than the smart #3.
