Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

smart #5 is barely cheaper – starting at 39,300 £ , while the XPeng P7+ costs 39,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 600 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the XPeng P7+ is visibly more efficient: consuming 15.2 kWh/100km compared to 18.4 kWh/100km for the smart #5. That’s a difference of about 3.2 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the smart #5 offers slightly more range – reaching up to 590 km, about 60 km more than the XPeng P7+.
