VW ID.5 is very slightly cheaper – starting at 37,200 £ , while the ZEEKR 7GT costs 39,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 2,255 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.5 is marginally more efficient: consuming 15.4 kWh/100km compared to 16.6 kWh/100km for the ZEEKR 7GT. That’s a difference of about 1.2 kWh/100km.

SUV — good off‑road, but makes no sense for urban driving, neither for efficiency nor for feel.
Hatchbacks give a modest boost in practicality over a traditional sedan while keeping a true sense of driving, rather than “riding” the car like you do in an SUV.
Granted, the SUV is a clear winner on those days when my back hurts and lowering myself into the driver’s seat is a problem.
