Costs and Efficiency:

When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

smart #3 is a bit cheaper – starting at 42,000 £ , while the VW ID.7 costs 46,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 4,384 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.7 is slightly more efficient: consuming 13.6 kWh/100km compared to 16.3 kWh/100km for the smart #3. That’s a difference of about 2.7 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers noticeably more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 253 km more than the smart #3.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.
