Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

BYD Atto 2 is significantly cheaper – starting at 27,400 £ , while the XPeng G9 costs 51,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 23,665 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BYD Atto 2 is a bit more efficient: consuming 15.8 kWh/100km compared to 18.4 kWh/100km for the XPeng G9. That’s a difference of about 2.6 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the XPeng G9 offers markedly more range – reaching up to 585 km, about 155 km more than the BYD Atto 2.
