Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

BMW i4 is significantly cheaper – starting at 49,900 £ , while the Mercedes EQS costs 80,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 31,031 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BMW i4 is very slightly more efficient: consuming 14.7 kWh/100km compared to 15.5 kWh/100km for the Mercedes EQS. That’s a difference of about 0.8 kWh/100km.
