Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Jeep Compass is slightly cheaper – starting at 34,200 £ , while the Honda CR-V costs 40,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 6,000 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Honda CR-V uses 2.6 L/100km and is somewhat more efficient than the Jeep Compass with 3 L/100km. The difference is about 0.4 L/100km.

The fuel economy you report in your test is, of course, nonsense. This is a plug-in, and so you're being fooled. Of course a CR‑V isn't more economical than an HR‑V. Think!

My 2026 CR‑V hybrid has had no problems. It’s quieter than my previous 2019 RAV4 hybrid. The exterior finish feels more solid across the whole vehicle. It’s less affected by crosswinds. I prefer the CR‑V’s driving. Its only drawback is that it uses just a little more fuel than the RAV4.

Very comfortable, lots of space, combined fuel consumption about 6 l, reliable, simple to operate, without unnecessary gadgets, very well made, easy to drive, a car for the city and long trips.

Good car, very comfortable. It still drinks petrol — I do a lot of driving, so the hybrid system only makes itself felt in traffic jams....
