Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

BMW i4 is slightly cheaper – starting at 49,900 £ , while the Mercedes C-Class EQ costs 58,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 8,153 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Mercedes C-Class EQ is very slightly more efficient: consuming 14.3 kWh/100km compared to 14.7 kWh/100km for the BMW i4. That’s a difference of about 0.4 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Mercedes C-Class EQ offers somewhat more range – reaching up to 753 km, about 140 km more than the BMW i4.
