Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

Skoda Elroq is barely cheaper – starting at 32,000 £ , while the Nissan X-Trail costs 34,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 2,109 £.

Engine and Performance:

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

When it comes to engine power, the Skoda Elroq offers markedly more power – delivering 340 HP compared to 213 HP. That’s roughly 127 HP more horsepower.

I drive an Outback every day; I had an X‑Trail as a courtesy car while mine was in for service. First impression after a few kilometres of driving — the suspension is a disaster. You get the feeling this car picks up every single imperfection in the tarmac. Also, at idle the engine causes noticeably more vibrations in the cabin than the Subaru. I drove the Cupra Tavascan and the Škoda Elroq, and after a test drive I ultimately chose the Škoda Elroq 85 Business Edition Advanced. I am very satisfied with the Škoda Elroq Business Edition Advanced. The car drives quietly and smoothly and feels nicely spacious. The controls are clear and the car has many useful features. All in all a pleasant and comfortable car that I enjoy driving. After a 7,200 km tour through Spain I'm still very satisfied with the Škoda.

The Skoda Elroq is more maneuverable in the city, easier to park than a Tesla, it doesn’t suffer from curbs that sometimes touch the front, it handles steep, poorly made garage ramps without problems, uses traditional distance sensors that are very reliable, and it’s a European product.

For me personally, compared directly with the ID4 "GTX", the Elroq is the slightly more mature and better-thought-out car for everyday use. It offers better ride comfort, software that runs a bit more smoothly for me, and by far the nicer design.

First electric buy, so glad we chose the Elroq. Everything is so intuitive, car very spacious comfortable and nicely appointed, everything just feels right. Turning circle of 9.3M is so useful for such a largish car. Only small gripe is it's has quite a bit of road noise at 100KPH plus, absolutely fine below .
