Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

XPeng G6 is marginally cheaper – starting at 37,400 £ , while the smart #5 costs 39,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 1,971 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the XPeng G6 is marginally more efficient: consuming 17.3 kWh/100km compared to 18.4 kWh/100km for the smart #5. That’s a difference of about 1.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the smart #5 offers somewhat more range – reaching up to 590 km, about 65 km more than the XPeng G6.
