Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW ID.3 is clearly cheaper – starting at 29,100 £ , while the Volvo EX90 costs 72,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 43,024 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.3 is markedly more efficient: consuming 13.9 kWh/100km compared to 17.8 kWh/100km for the Volvo EX90. That’s a difference of about 3.9 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VW ID.3 offers marginally more range – reaching up to 629 km, about 9 km more than the Volvo EX90.

Full of faults — at least every other day there's something that needs to be fixed. Consumption 24 kWh/100 km in summer; in winter the range is half of what was promised. The safety would be good if the promised features actually worked.
