Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Hongqi EHS7 is substantially cheaper – starting at 51,400 £ , while the Volvo XC90 costs 74,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 22,881 £.

As for electric range, the Hongqi EHS7 offers clearly more range – reaching up to 600 km, about 531 km more than the Volvo XC90.

Engine and Performance:

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

I drive both cars. The XC90’s boot is — contrary to the figures posted here — noticeably larger than the GLC’s when carrying five people. Overall the XC90 is clearly the more comfortable and, above all, the more stable — and therefore the safer — car.
