VW ID.4 is clearly cheaper – starting at 34,800 £ , while the Lucid Air costs 72,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 38,075 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Lucid Air is slightly more efficient: consuming 13 kWh/100km compared to 15.4 kWh/100km for the VW ID.4. That’s a difference of about 2.4 kWh/100km.

The ID.4 is a bit pricey, but very pleasant to drive. Its winter range could be better — then again, that's a problem all EVs are facing right now.

An ID.4 with 340 hp is not comparable to the Aiways U5! The U5 only has 204 hp! The ID.4’s boot is too small, rear legroom is too tight, no frunk, and it’s a bit confusing…
