When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Lynk & Co 02 is visibly cheaper – starting at 30,900 £ , while the VW ID.5 costs 37,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 6,313 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.5 is a bit more efficient: consuming 15.4 kWh/100km compared to 17.1 kWh/100km for the Lynk & Co 02. That’s a difference of about 1.7 kWh/100km.

It's a very well-finished and aesthetically attractive car, very high-performing, but one in which the suspension doesn't match the performance delivered by its engine. In the Core version it has fairly restrained fuel consumption.
