Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

BYD Atto 3 is markedly cheaper – starting at 33,400 £ , while the BMW iX2 costs 43,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 10,294 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BMW iX2 is somewhat more efficient: consuming 14.4 kWh/100km compared to 16 kWh/100km for the BYD Atto 3. That’s a difference of about 1.6 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the BMW iX2 offers marginally more range – reaching up to 512 km, about 2 km more than the BYD Atto 3.
